Bereavement Support
Support for Grieving Families
Hospice El Paso offers bereavement support from the time of hospice admission up to 13 months after your loved one’s death. The needs of each person receiving bereavement support can vary depending on their unique situation. Services can range from individual counseling to support groups for patients and families under hospice care, as well as support for people in the community who may not have been recipients of hospice care services.
Emotional Support
Emotional support for patients, family, or caregivers.
Communication Assistance
When requested by family or patient, the bereavement counselor will assist individuals with guidance regarding effective communication about the dying process and individual wishes.
Grief Education
Education on anticipatory grief and grief.
Parent support groups
We can briefly state in text below that in person grief support groups are held the send saturdays of the month. English session is held at 9am and Spanish session is held at 11am at 8515 Lockheed Dr. El Paso, TX 79925.
Parent support groups target the loss of a child and are available for our families of patients in our Butterfly Program. For more information on parent support please contact us at (915)532-5699.
