The hospice chaplain provides spiritual care and support to the patient and family as needed while respecting and honoring the various beliefs and cultural customs of the patient and family. The chaplain can also conduct regular visits for conversation, guidance, and spiritual nurturing.
If the patient so desires, the chaplain will help in connecting the patient and family with their church or religious/spiritual choice.
